Summary

John Masters Organic Vitamin C Anti-Aging Face Serum contains organic ingredients, which makes it good to use on oily, acne-prone and even sensitive skin. It’s great for everyday use with claims of long-term benefits.

There are a lot of serums that promise to deliver great benefits to your skin. Unfortunately, however, not all of them are able to do exactly what their labels say.

Because of this, we’ve dedicated a good amount of time and effort to finding the best ones for you. You can check out our in-depth review by clicking this link.

Here’s our take on John Masters Organics Vitamin C Face Serum.

About The Brand

John Masters Organics is a popular brand when it comes to organic hair care and natural beauty products. It started in New York in 1991.

Because of its commitment to natural products, the brand has earned a lot of followers, including famous celebrities and health enthusiasts.

Main Ingredients

John Masters Vitamin C Serum is a blend of ascorbic acid polypeptide and the extracts of rosemary, algae and rice. It also has rose flower oil and sunflower seed oil.

This mixture of ingredients enables the product to provide your skin with skin moisture while boosting its collagen production. Aside from the ingredients we mentioned, the serum also has aloe vera leaf juice and shea butter.

Uses and Effects

One thing we noticed about this serum is its ability to provide good moisture. A lot of people who use the product actually use it in lieu of their regular moisturizers.

Aside from soothing dry skin, the serum is also good in addressing fine lines, particularly in the areas around the eyes and the forehead. Upon application, you can expect an improvement in your skin’s tone.

If you have age spots or if your skin suffers excessive dryness particularly during the cold season, it’s a good idea to check this product out. It hydrates the skin without the stinging effect you can get from most serums.

Although there are people with sensitive skin who are using the product without any adverse reactions, we still recommend that you do a sensitivity patch test. Every skin reacts differently and your skin may have a different level of tolerance.

Formulation

One of the most common complaints people have about this serum is its mild citrus scent. But for some people, it isn’t actually bothering as it dissipates quickly.

As or texture, the product is light and gets absorbed fast. Although it feels a bit tacky upon application, it doesn’t leave a greasy feeling that can make you feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day.

Packaging

The product weighs 1 ounce. It comes in a dark tinted amber bottle with a pump, which is very typical from John Masters Organics brand.

The problem with its pump is that it makes dispensing a lot harder. Some users claim that the pump can get stuck which may prevent you from getting the last few drops of the serum inside the bottle.

As for safety and security, its pump bottle can actually help delay oxidation by limiting the serum’s exposure to light and air.

How To Use

The best time to use the product is after cleansing and toning. Take one to two pumps of the product and massage on your skin until it gets dissolved and absorbed.

You can use it all over your face, but make sure to avoid your eye areas.

The Verdict

What We Like

  • Organic product
  • Good moisturizing property
  • Good to use on sensitive and acne-prone skin

What We Didn’t Like
